The first Mayday was attended by 6000 partyfaces. 20 years later on 30th April 2011 more than 25 000 people are expected to participate in Dortmund, Westfalenhalle. More than 50 top performer will arrive for the 20 years' jubilee of this cultural event - included Paul Van Dyk, Jeff Mills, Sven Väth, Sander Van Doorn and Westbam. A fifth room will be also created where DJs from the earlier years will play music such as Marusha, Tanith, Ravers Nature or Hooligan.

For some of your Laurent Garnier liveacts and also now for your L.B.S. projectyou play together with other musicians. What was actually your earliest experience of playing in a band/ with other people?

Named in DJ Mag as the "breakthrough DJ of 2008" by Adam Beyer, the last year has proven to be nothing short of that title for Kyle Geiger.  Within the first year of his premier vinyl release, Kyle has achieved international notoriety, a feat that many never accomplish in their entire career as a DJ/producer.

Before we give you the first names of our 2011 line-up, we want to start with last year's edition. Even though, Melt! 2010 is over, it's still worth a news feature. Fortunately, we were nominated for a European Festival Award 2010. We were lucky and won the Artist's Favourite European Festival award. We are tremendously happy and thank everyone who voted in our favour!

The international electronic music scene will meet in Berlin in 2010 from November 3rd to November 6th for BerMuDa, the Berlin Music Days. After the successful launch of BerMuDa last year, Berlin’s one-of-a-kind electronic music club festival will once again draw clubbers, ravers, musicians, label execs, and businesspeople in the music scene from all over the world to Berlin. This year, BerMuDa will be even more extensive, and in addition to the club nights from Wednesday to Saturday, numerous BerMuDa events will be held during the day all across the city, with the large BerMuDa main event, featuring local and international festival acts like Paul Kalkbrenner, Sven Väth, Richi Hawtin, Loco Dice, Tiefschwarz and many more, being held at the Berlin Tempelhof Airport. I Love Techno is celebrating its 15th birthday! On Saturday November 13, it's time for a huge party at Flanders Expo in Ghent. On the 6th of November 2010 the climax of the Berlin Music Days - FLY BerMuDa - will take place on one of Berlin's biggest event stages: Flughafen Tempelhof. A location fit to hold the Crème de la Crème of the electronic music scenes finest. An array of highlights has been setup by the FLY BerMuDa team for the portion of the festival that will take place at Flughafen Tempelhof. Techno luminaries such as Sven Väth, Loco Dice, Minus mastermind Richie Hawtin and star of Berlin's latest Techno movie - Paul Kalkbrenner - whose performance marks the return to his original stomping grounds after a year of extensive touring, are all confirmed as your cabin crew.
