TWNL2011_new_logoRichie Hawtin pushes the excitement levels into overdrive before Time Warp Holland. Alongside Underworld and Sven Väth, the Minus boss will headline this year's lineup at the mega event. At his final appearance of 2011 prior to a well-deserved break from touring, he will surprise guests with a reconfigured DJ set-up, promising "Something special, something experimental" as he once again aims to push forward the boundaries of technology & modern DJ performance.
Anyone thinking of projects like Plastikman 1.5 or the RED show at the Grand Palais in Paris knows that hardly anyone else can bring musical passion and technical know-how so perfectly into harmony like Richie Hawtin. With his use of innovative technologies, complex DJ setups or multimedia live shows, Hawtin has reconfirmed his pioneering role in the electronic music scene for many years now. So we're all eager to see what the Canadian has come up with for Time Warp.

Hawtin couldn't have chosen a more appropriate setting for his new project, as Time Warp in Holland will once again raise the stakes with the latest lighting and video technology. True to the motto "no compromises in technology and sound", the events will even be held at a new location in 2011: the Brabanthallen in s'-Hertogenbosch. Not only is there room for approximately 25,000 visitors, but the vast halls also finally offer the possibility to transfer the technical production levels seen in Mannheim to the event in Holland. This has enabled the Time Warp planners to run free with their visions and ideas. With the team of Dub Video Connection or the Hungarian mapping experts Ivo Kovacs and László Zsolt Bordos, some of the most respected visual artists are ready to make the fascination of Time Warp visually tangible on 10 December.

The acoustic part, however, will once again be provided by a high-class lineup bringing together the genre's big names, such as Sven Väth, Loco Dice and Marco Carola, alongside young and upcoming acts under the eves of the Brabanthallen - including the two Berghain residents Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann. The legendary UK duo Underworld will play at Time Warp for the first time, and with Tensnake, the Round Table Knights or Todd Terje, there are also completely new acts in the lineup, expanding Time Warp's musical repertoire even further.
