Bad Boy Bill
Bad Boy Bill began his DJ career in 1985 during the Chicago House music movement of the mid and late 80's working with Mike "Hitman" Wilson and Julian "Jumpin" Perez of the then WBMX dj mixing team known as the Hot Mix 5. Bill's popularity began to grow by dj'ing parties throughout Chicago and the Suburbs opening for the Hot Mix 5 dj's.
Dj Sneak
In 1983, Carlos Sosa aka DJ Sneak, moved to the city of Chicago from
the island of Puerto Rico, where his early musical experiences and
influences were rooted in salsa, meringue and Latin orchestras.
Bruce Haack
Bruce Haack is one of the pioneers of electronic music during the 50’s
and 60’s, who worked in numerous music genres from musique concrete to
space-age-pop and whose works preceded the later synth pop and space
rock music.
Autechre
Autechre are probably most influential electronica artists from the
90’s. The duo, formed by Rob Brown and Sean Booth, met in Manchester in
1987, amidst a growing British scene influenced by techno, mid´s 80s
hip hop and electro sounds.
Armando
Born Armando Louis Gallop in Chicago’s Southside in 1970, Armando is considered the father of the acid house music.
Anne Clark
Anne Clark is one of the most personal artists from the British
post-punk and synth pop scene who has created an intimate and rich
world of electronic music and poetry.
Alec Empire
Born in 1972 in West Berlin, Alec Empire is known as one of the most
musically and politically radical techno artists. Alec Empire
(Alexander Wilke) used to be a street breakdancer when he was ten.
Afrika Bambaataa
Born Kevin Donovan in New York 1960, Afrika Bambaataa has been named
the Godfather of hip hop, but also besides that, his influence on
electronic music and electro-funk.
Abe Duque
Born Carlos Abraham Duque Alcivar in Ecuador, Abe Duque, also known as
Kirlian, is a prominent artist in New York. Abe Duque moved to the NYC
at the early age of 2, where he grew a passion for dance music. In
1983, he bought his first synthesizer and started playing in the church
of his father, who was also a musician and an evangelical minister.
